Xmas Program

Four days in Siwa oasis, full board, including- tourist sightseeing, adventures, safari, sandboarding, and desert parties. Either you like to spend this time quietly or make many new friends on desert parties we are there to organise it for you 😉 If you decide to spend in this paradise more time we have a wide range of available hotels and a couple of flats for those who want to stay over one month  

Day 1 

Living from Cairo at 6 am by Minibus. Check in the hotel in Siwa. Dinner. Spare time.

Day 2 

After breakfast we would explore Siwa with our local guide either on bikes, donkey carriage or bus. We would visit:

• The Old City of Shali,
• Discover the Oracle Temple, where you will see the coronation hall of Alexander the Great (Lunch in the town in the meantime )
• Checkout the mountain of the dead
• Jump into Cleopatra spring
• Watch sunset at Fatness Island
• After dinner we would have a party with Life Music Siwa Band !

Day 3

Just straight after breakfast you would Visit Museum of traditions , The House of Siwa – a place build in order to preserve the historical and cultural heritage.
After that we can get ready to start our Safari Tour. We will visit:

• The Foot Print – Oldest human foot print in the world
• Shaita Lake (bring your swimwear) We will stay there for lunch.
• Discover the fossilized sea
• Enjoy soaking in the natural hot water spring Bir Wahed – which consists of a hot spring and a fresh water lake.
• Take on a steep sand dunes and go sand boarding!.
• Watch the sunset from the highest dunes, do not forget your camera!  We will set up camp in the desert.
• Enjoy freshly cooked dinner in the camp site in the middle of Sahara. Another day with life Siwan Music in the ambience of stars.

Day 4

After breakfast we would take you to the Siwa Town , where you can make some shopping. Back to Cairo

Weather in Siwa

December would surprise you with sunny mornings, but you have to get a warm jumper for your night Trip in the Great Sand Sea. We provide a sleeping bags and blankets, to make your nights cosy and warm. For more weather details check our weather page

List of things to pack

• Id or Passport
• Cash – there is only one ATMS in Siwa and with this high season, it may run out of cash
• Swimwear – to swim in the various water springs
• Sandals
• Warm clothes – for the night in the desert
• Sunglasses
• Mosquito repellent
• Hat
• Long sleeves – so you don’t get sunburn
• If you drink alcohol, bring your supply from Cairo. They are almost impossible to get in Siwa.We provides water and other non alcoholic beverages for the desert trip.
• Torch light – if you forget one , don’t worry the stars would guide you
